A well-crafted song can say more than words. I have always enjoyed music. I remember as a child getting chills from the full sound of a pipe organ and being overwhelmed by the harmonies of a choir or orchestra. In songwriting, there is something powerful that takes place when the lyrics and melody are able to tell the same story.

I’ve spent a lot of time chasing the sound of famous bands or artists and unsuccessfully so. This Stone Age Duffy project is my attempt to remove that unnecessary pressure and simply create. I am who I am and I sound how I sound. If you are here and can appreciate it for what it is, then these songs are for you. When I write them, they have meaning. When I share them, they have purpose.
